RN - PT Weekend Days - Jackson Center LTC
Job Summary
The Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. They collaborate with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care. They demonstrate competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. They care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. They coordinate care, assess residents, educate residents, and perform various other nursing interventions. They may serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

About the Role
The Jackson location is set atop a ridge of rolling hills with a panoramic view of the Des Moines River Valley.
Schedule
Part time, every other weekend, 8 hours per week.
Pay
$36.00 - $48.00
