About the role

As a Home Health Aide at Amedisys, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, medication management, and help patients maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Help patients manage medications and medical appointments
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help patients maintain a safe and clean living environment
• Document patient care activities and progress

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Pass a drug test

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• First aid and CPR certification
