RN PSU Nights FT
USPI Memorial Hermann Surgical Hospital Kingwood is seeking a motivated RN PSU Nights to join our team. We have 6 OR rooms and 2 Treatment rooms and perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Spine, and Urology.
About the role
The RN PSU is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services for post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. Ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. This position responds to patients presenting with healthcare needs and provides the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.
Schedule
Full-time nights, Monday–Friday. Schedule is subject to change based on surgical schedule and daily flow, with availability required for some early mornings and later evenings.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- At least three (3) years of experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgical or similar unit
- Current RN license in the State of Texas
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
