RN - Progressive Care Unit Nights

About the Role

This position provides direct patient care in a technically complex Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environment, utilizing advanced nursing skills and evidence-based practices. The role emphasizes professional development, safety, and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care utilizing the nursing process
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality care
• Precept and support new healthcare staff and students
• Engage in ongoing learning within a fast-paced clinical setting
• Provide safe, evidence-based patient care in a specialized unit
• Contribute to clinical safety and quality
• Support team education and growth

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure
• Minimum of 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program
• ACLS and BLS certification (through American Heart Association or Red Cross), valid through sixty days of hire
