Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit Nights

About the role

Provides high-level patient care in a Progressive Care Unit, utilizing the nursing process to ensure safety and quality outcomes. Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing evidence-based practice and patient wellness. Acts as a preceptor to new staff and adapts to a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in a technically complex PCU setting following AACN’s Synergy Model and specialty standards.
• Support clinical education and competency validation through individualized training.
• Contribute to a safe, high-quality care environment and model proficiency in clinical practice.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with valid RN licensure.
• Minimum of 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications, with BLS valid through sixty days of hire.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills in a dynamic clinical setting.
