RN Program Coordinator - Full Time

About the Role

The RN Program Coordinator provides direct patient care to adult surgical patients, ensuring optimal outcomes through effective communication with physicians, team members, and vendors. They assess operating room readiness, manage supplies and implants, and assist during procedures. The role serves as a resource within the Surgical Services Department, participates in performance and quality improvement activities, and trains nursing staff in the specific service line.

Responsibilities

• Manage service line operations, including supplies, physician and vendor relations, and staff education.
• Deliver and evaluate patient care, consulting with healthcare team members as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and sterile processing to meet patient and physician needs.
• Assist in policy review, physician order set development, and staff training.
• Monitor equipment and ensure operating room readiness for procedures.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Nevada; BSN preferred.
• At least three years of Operating Room experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
