RN, Procedures - Pain Clinic
About the role
This position is responsible for coordinating care, performing patient assessments, patient education, triage, and various other interventions. It requires excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and triage patient needs. The role also involves working in emergent patient care situations, managing chronic pain, and collaborating with providers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate care and patient assessments
- Provide patient education and triage
- Utilize the professional nursing process to provide individualized care
- Assess, treat, and follow up with patients in an ambulatory setting
- Work with providers and assist during surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Utilize electronic medical records
- May work with or participate in hospital settings and take call with providers, as needed
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
- Maintain required department-specific licenses, competencies, and certifications
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of electronic medical records
- Ability to assess and triage patients with various conditions and devices
Skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to handle emergent patient care situations
- Knowledge of the professional nursing process
- Proficiency in electronic medical records

Pay
$29.50 - $44.50 per hour
Schedule
Full time, 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, no evenings, weekends, or holidays.
