RN - Procedure - Urology Clinic

About the role

Be part of something remarkable at the #1 hospital system in Wisconsin and bring your experience and interest in directly caring for urology patients to the clinic setting at Eastpark Medical Center and University Hospital. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

• Be autonomous and manage their own patient schedule of in clinic procedures for the day.
• Independently perform unique procedures such as urodynamic testing, bladder instillations, catheter/suprapubic tube changes and interstim therapy.
• Collaborate daily with a team of urologists, radiology techs, and support staff to provide consistent and positive patient outcomes.
• Provide education and guidance to adult patients of the urology specialty in an ambulatory, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
• Work Experience: 6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience Required
• Additional years of relevant clinical nursing experience Preferred
• Prior involvement in clinical procedures in area of specialty, including successful work or involvement in other hospital-wide project work Preferred
• Experience in an academic medical setting Preferred
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
• Certification in area of specialty Preferred

Schedule

100% FTE, 8-hour day shift between the clinic hours of 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. No weekends or holidays. You will primarily work at Eastpark Medical
