RN-PRN II: Radiology

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses the patient based on their medical condition.
• Knows and administers ordered medications as prescribed.
• Provides care appropriate to the patient's condition and age, including basic self-care activities.
• Formulates a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluates its effectiveness.
• Uses nursing knowledge to perform treatments and provide services.
• Communicates and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient care.
• Assists physicians with procedures and performs services requiring technical and manual skills.
• Demonstrates ability to address psychosocial needs of patients and family, and communicate with social services.
• Promotes cost-effectiveness and reduces the risk of unnecessary harm through health care.
• Prioritizes patient care effectively and efficiently.

Specifications

• Experience: Minimum required one (1) year of nursing experience.

• Licenses: RN; BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS/PALS specialty certification preferred.

• Education: Minimum required graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• Training: ACLS/PALS specialty certification preferred.

• Skills: Computer literacy.
