About the role
Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a perioperative setting, including PACU and Operating Room levels.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver top-of-scope care, prioritize patient wellness, and contribute to safety and quality outcomes.
- Support a multidisciplinary team, model proficiency through precepting, and stay current with evidence-based practices.
- Clinical educators assist with specialty training and competency validation.
- Provide comprehensive perioperative patient care, support clinical education, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's preferred.
- Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
- Minimum 6 months RN experience or completion of a fellowship program.
- Knowledge of AORN and ABPANC standards and certifications.
