Job Summary

The Registered Clinical Nurse (RN) is fundamental in achieving recognized world-class health care. Assumes direct and indirect responsibility for the patient's care environment. The primary responsibility is providing care through collaboration with health care team members and the autonomous application of the nursing process. Also provides leadership, mentoring, and role modeling for other members of the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Care coordination and delegation of care in a safe, secure, and clean environment
• Providing care that respects the patient’s rights, dignity, values, confidentiality, and expressed needs
• Adapting care using evidenced-based practice and information technologies while maintaining focus on comfort, pain relief, and anxiety alleviation
• Reporting to Nurse Manager
• Supervising: Nurse Extern, Graduate/Licensed Practical Nurse, Nursing Technician/Specialty Technician, Unit Secretary, Patient Care Assistant

What You’ll Need To Apply

• Required Education: Associates in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Required Experience: No previous experience required
• PREFERRED Experience: 2-5 years’ experience as RN
• Required Certification/License/Registry: Current license to practice as an RN in Florida, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited instructor from the American Heart Association (AHA)
