Responsibilities
- Synthesizes patient assessment data & recognizes complex situations prior to communicating with care team
- Obtains information from patients vital for successful clinical visit which may include: patient’s vital signs, weight, medical history
- Serves as a patient advocate, resource and contact person for OB/Gyn patients
- Serves as a patient advocate, resource and contact person for OB/Gyn patients

- Manages all laboratory/diagnostic tracking systems, including the Electronic Medical Record and i2iTracks, to monitor, identify and notify patients of test results and appropriate follow up.
- Manages care of complex patients utilizing proper prioritization and delegation to appropriate staff
- Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across the age spectrum in a variety of primary care outpatient settings
- Provides care that meets professional standards of practice and meets regulatory requirements
- Documents reflects ongoing evaluation and effectiveness of patient care utilizing current standards, policies & procedures
- Aids or performs all necessary preventive screening, CLIA waived labs, immunizations or other treatments as ordered by physician
- Trades patients who call or present with urgent medical needs and handles all incoming calls related to lab results, pharmacy refill requests, and medical questions
- Provides current health education about diagnostic and prescribed treatments
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in obstetrics-gynecology (OB/GYN) setting
- R.N., graduate of a program for professional nursing, i.e. school of nursing or college
- Computer competency: Basic Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; navigation of Internet and Intranet to access patient education materials
- Essential: Competencies

- Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members

- Credentials Essential: BLS - Basic Life Saving certification (American Heart Association)
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Education Essential: RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program Entry
- USD $26.12/Hr. Max USD $40.49/Hr.
