RN – Perinatal – Westwood
Shift: 12-hour night shifts and/or day/night rotating shifts including holidays and weekends; 3 shifts/week
Pay Range: $65.76-97.76
About the role
In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for Perinatal patients. You will offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions, assigning related tasks, and managing complex patient care coordination. You will also assess patient, family, and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education, and promote effective working relationships. This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions. The expectation is to float between Ronald Reagan (RR) UCLA and Santa Monica (SM) UCLA L&D and couplet care units as census needs require, with main responsibility to Ronald Reagan Perinatal Units.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Current California RN license
- BSN or MSN required
- BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- NRP required
- 2 years Perinatal (including Labor and Delivery) experience
- Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
Skills
- Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
- Ability to perform historical, physical, and behavioral patient assessments
- Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans actively involving patients, family, and staff
