Description
The schedule is very flexible with the manager offering a variety of 12 hour shifts. For example, if you prefer to work 12pm to 12am, this is a great opportunity!
About the Role
This unit is open 7 days a week and 24 hours per day. This position does not offer benefits.
Responsibilities
- Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
- Reports and is accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
Requirements
- Education: Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensure/Certification: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Experience: One (1) year of relevant and current experience required.
Qualifications
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Reads journals that contain studies or articles that may be applicable to practice. Brings ideas and questions to the staff at large for assessment of applicability.
