Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Recognize and respond rapidly to patient deterioration or emergencies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, IV drips including titration, and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards.
- Participate in bedside shift reports, huddles, and unit-based initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Certifications: ACLS is required but can be obtained through our Training and Development Center.
- Minimum of 1-year acute care preferred, however, new graduates may be considered.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Preferred Skills
- Cardiac monitoring/telemetry interpretation.
- Stroke, respiratory, or post ICU care experience.
- Familiarity with central lines, drips and complex patient management.
