RN Pediatric Transport

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced, compassionate care to critically ill or injured infants and children during interfacility and intra-hospital transports.
• Perform rapid pediatric assessments and deliver age-appropriate interventions.
• Manage ventilators and critical infusions.
• Respond to emergencies in ground or air transport settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and EMS teams.
• Follow PALS-based protocols.
• Maintain detailed documentation to ensure safe, family-centered care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing licensure with pediatric or critical care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric assessment, ventilator management, and emergency response.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Adherence to protocols is essential.

Key Duties

• Transport critically ill children safely.
• Deliver timely interventions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to ongoing education and training to support clinical excellence and community health.
