Hourly Pay: $38 – $40 per hour
Schedule
Thursday 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (night care)
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (day care)
About the role
Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide total care for a pediatric patient in their home.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services
- Initiate the plan of care when directed and request from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
- Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
- Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document effectiveness of intervention
- Review plan of care and program protocols and identify areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices
- Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation)
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
- Current BLS card
- One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
