RN Pediatric Clinical Research - PRN

Make a difference on your own schedule and terms as a per diem/PRN Certified Mobile Research Nurse with EmVenio. You’ll set appointments within required visitation windows to complete mobile visits for study participants, working cooperatively with clinical project managers, coordinators, and site personnel to submit accurate source documentation.

Responsibilities

• Visit a pediatric population (ages 6–21) in Middlebury, VT
• Perform physical assessments
• Collect and process specimens
• Manage investigational product
• Administer 12-lead safety ECGs

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two years’ experience in phlebotomy/peripheral blood draws, IVs, and subcutaneous injections (last practice within 6 months preferred)
• One year of experience collecting vital signs, ECGs, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Vermont
• Current CPR certification
• Current TB test
• Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
• Accurate and detailed patient record-keeping, including medical history and medication charting
• Licensed driver with a good driving record, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Ability to speak additional languages

Pay

$60.00 hourly plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay.
