RN Pediatric Clinical Research - PRN

About the role

As a Certified Mobile Research Nurse (CMRN) for EmVenio, you will set appointments within required visitation windows to complete mobile visits for study participants. You will work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.

This per diem/PRN position focuses on a pediatric population (ages 6–21) and requires travel to Middlebury, VT.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical assessments
• Collect and process specimens
• Manage Investigational Product
• Administer 12-lead safety ECGs
• Start and perform phlebotomy/peripheral blood draws, IVs, and subcutaneous injections
• Collect vital signs, ECGs, urine samples, and perform urine pregnancy tests
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records, including medical history and medication charting

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years of experience in phlebotomy/peripheral blood draws, IVs, and subcutaneous injections (last practice within 6 months preferred)
• One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECGs, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Vermont
• Current CPR certification
• Current TB test
• Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
• Licensed driver with a good driving record, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Ability to speak languages other than English

Pay

Standard rate: $60.00 per hour, plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay.
