About the role

The Certified Mobile Research Nurse (CMRN) is a per diem/PRN position for EmVenio. This role involves setting appointments within the required visitation window to complete mobile visits for study participants. The CMRN works cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to ensure visits are completed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Set appointments within the required visitation window
  • Complete mobile visits for study participants
  • Work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel
  • Submit accurate source documentation
  • Perform physical assessments
  • Perform phlebotomy
  • Manage investigational product
  • Perform 12-lead safety ECG
  • Collect vital signs
  • Collect urine samples
  • Perform urine pregnancy tests
  • Document medical history and medication charting
  • Communicate effectively with patients
  • Ensure accuracy and detail in patient records
  • Travel to Boston, MA as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (within 6 months of date of last practice, preferred)
  • One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
  • Maintain a current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice
  • Maintain a current CPR certification
  • Maintain a current TB Test
  • Ability to speak other languages (preferred)

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Licensed driver with good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair

Skills

  • Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records
  • Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills

Benefits

Pay

Standard Rate: $65.00 hourly plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay.

Schedule

Flexible schedule to accommodate mobile visits.
