RN - Pediatric and Obstetric Care - Night Shift

Position Overview: Provides specialized nursing care within the Nursery, ISCU, Pediatrics, and Labor and Delivery units on the night shift. Responsible for independently delivering safe, compassionate, and effective patient care, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Guides and collaborates with healthcare team members and unlicensed personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, nursery, and pediatric patients.Coordinate interdisciplinary communication to promote continuity of care.Contribute to safety outcomes and enhance patient experiences. Qualifications & Skills Current Illinois RN licensure.Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (AHA required).Minimum of two years recent acute care experience in Nursery, Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery, or ISCU. Additional Information: Requires travel between Evanston and Highland Hospital.
