About the Role

Join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Piedmont Eastside, a 310-bed, multi-campus system offering comprehensive medical and surgical programs. The PCU bridges the gap between the Intensive Care Unit and medical-surgical units, providing high-intensity nursing care. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll deliver holistic, patient-centered care in a positive, collaborative setting with state-of-the-art technology. Opportunities to participate in clinical research may also be available.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Function within organizational policies and procedures while demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.

Qualifications

• New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Pay

Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 available.

Schedule

Part-time nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
