RN Patient Placement Coordinator

About the role

The RN Patient Placement Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who provides adjunct support to the Administrative (House) Supervisor (AS) and Resource Coordinators (RC) during high-volume hours by facilitating the design, implementation, and monitoring of processes to improve patient flow within urban hospitals. This role centrally reinforces processes by monitoring information systems for timely completion and accurate input, with the authority to request immediate compliance from responsible staff.

Responsibilities

• Support Administrative Supervisors and Resource Coordinators during high-volume periods.
• Facilitate and monitor processes to improve patient flow within hospitals.
• Ensure timely and accurate input in information systems.
• Request immediate compliance from staff to maintain process integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• 3 years of Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
• Managerial experience in nursing.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $44.61 - $69.26 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full-time, evening shift.
