Responsibilities
- Assesses bed availability for all areas of the hospital.
- Proficient in electronic bed management systems.
- Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
- Provides clinical leadership.
- Sustains lifelong learning.
- Captures and communicates patient information accurately.
- Manages patient flow throughout the hospital.
- Facilitates communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Maintains compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Follows the escalation process involving Administration and House Supervisors.
- Facilitates transfer back process between entities.
- Monitors and coordinates care for emergent/urgent conditions (STEMI).
- Enters orders timely for strokes and STEMI's.
- Aids facilities with problem-solving regarding patient movement/orders.
Requirements
- Minimum required: RN and 1 year of acute care experience.
- PREFERRED/DESIRED: Knowledge of Baptist hospitals and specialty units, EPIC experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- PREFERRED/DESIRED: BLS certification.
