Fetal Monitoring certification through recognized agencies is necessary for L&D RNs. Newly licensed RNs have six months to obtain ACLS, PALS, and Fetal Monitoring certifications if applicable. RN Fellowship Program requires one year of practice, with ACLS and BLS certifications.
