About the Role
Renders behavioral nursing care to partial hospitalization patients on the Behavioral Health Unit.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Maryland
- Minimum of one year experience in a partial hospitalization program (preferred)
- Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications as required
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire date
- CPI certification required within 90 days of hire date
Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all patient populations
- Ability to appropriately apply therapeutic hold/restraint and seclusion procedures when necessary
- Ability to process patient information and perform assigned duties in a confidential, professional, and empathetic manner
- Ability to operate internal computer systems and applications to effectively accomplish assigned duties
Schedule
- Able to work holidays as needed
- Expected to assist on Inpatient Unit as needed
