About the Role
High Focus Centers, a leading provider of high-quality outpatient treatment across southeastern Pennsylvania, is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to facilitate Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) groups and provide exceptional clinical care. This role is ideal for a clinician with experience treating individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders who is passionate about helping clients build the skills and support needed for long-term recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) group therapy sessions for individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders
- Provide structured, evidence-based group and individual therapeutic interventions
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide clinical support and crisis intervention as clinically indicated
- Utilize appropriate therapeutic techniques to support clients in managing mental health and substance use challenges
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and insurance reviews
- Coordinate care with referral sources, families, and external providers
- Maintain a minimum of 25 billable sessions per week while supporting overall program needs
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as needed to support clinical operations
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Clinical Mental Health, from an accredited institution, including completion of a clinical internship or practicum
- Experience providing clinical services to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred
- Experience facilitating group therapy in an outpatient, PHP, IOP, or other behavioral healthcare setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and treatment planning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
Pay & Schedule
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Compensation: $53,000–$57,000 annually, dependent on experience, education, and licensure
