About the role
The Registered Professional Nurse at Cabell Huntington Hospital is responsible for applying the nursing process, delegating tasks to other staff, supervising their work, coordinating care for a group of patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Delegating tasks to other patient care staff
- Supervising the work of other patient care staff
- Cooking care for a group of patients
- Consulting with other members of the health care team as necessary
Requirements
Candidates must provide proof of required degrees, certificates, and/or certifications at the time of the interview. Unwilling or unable to provide said documentation will not be considered.
Qualifications
Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in computer software.
