Representative Functions or Duties

• Complies with shift, unit, and organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years.
• Two (2) years of experience circulating in inpatient or ambulatory surgery setting within the past 5 years.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse License (Oregon).
• Basic Life Support.
• Specialty experience within the last three (3) years.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of O.R. circulating and scrubbing experience.
• CNOR.
• AACLIS.
• Pre-op area skills.
• IV start skills.
• Two (2) years of experience circulating in inpatient or ambulatory surgery setting within the past 3 years.

Experience

• Participates with the Health Care Team in delivering quality health care to patients.
• Supports the Labor Management Partnership (LMP) principles and practice.
• Provides support and assistance to the patient and Health Care team to promote population-based care, continuity of care, customer satisfaction, and self-care.
• Assesses, plans, directs, provides, and evaluates the nursing care for patients during the inter-operative phase.
• Coordinates care activities with other ASC professionals.
