Job Summary

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
• Facilitate health‑care services for patients in outpatient settings in cooperation with the health‑care team.
• Coordinate care, conduct patient assessments, deliver patient education, and perform various nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate outpatient care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, applying age‑ and population‑specific standards as designated for the clinical setting.
• Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules.
• Adhere to the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice standards, the Code of Ethics for Nurses, and related interpretive statements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (e.g., AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA) – preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing – preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure acceptable in Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) states.
• Obtain and maintain required department‑specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and pre‑employment background screening as a condition of employment.

Pay

Starting Rate: $35.00 – $48.00
