About the role

The Rehab and Nursing Center – Leffingwell offers 80 private rooms with beautiful nature views and uses the latest technology and techniques to maximize independence and mobility. As a Rehabilitation Nurse, you will provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from serious injuries, surgeries, or illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan.
• Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
• This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA.
• Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN): Required Associates in Nursing, MI Registered Nurse (RN), AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Required High School Diploma, Completion of an approved nursing program, State of MI Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) upon hire, AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN)

• Required: Associates in Nursing, MI Registered Nurse (RN).
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days.
• PREFERRED: Associates in Nursing, Healthcare experience.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Required: High School Diploma, Completion of an approved nursing program, State of MI Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) upon hire.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days.
• PREFERRED: Associates in Nursing, Healthcare experience.
