About the role
The RN at Troy Regional Medical Center provides comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients, leading other healthcare professionals in patient care. This position emphasizes a patient-centered approach to total nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Delivers care based on patient needs for infants, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly
- Utilizes the nursing process: Assessment, Nursing Diagnosis, Identification of Patient Outcomes, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation
- Works under the supervision of the Nurse Team Leader
- Maintains a professional, positive demeanor while providing excellent customer service
- Maintains a high-paced environment and exercises sound judgment
Requirements
- Alabama RN/LPN License required
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS preferred
- Multitask in a high-paced environment
- Exercise sound judgment
- Maintain a professional, positive demeanor while providing excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Demonstrated cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness in dealing with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of patient care protocols and procedures
