About the role
Provides direct nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements personalized care plans
- Assesses patient needs
- Advocates for patients and families
- Educates on health measures
- Collaborates with healthcare teams
- Demonstrates leadership by coordinating care and fostering a positive work environment
- Ensures safety and may perform point-of-care testing
Key duties
- Evaluate patient conditions
- Plan and deliver holistic care considering physical, social, cultural, and spiritual factors
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN licensure in the applicable state
- No prior experience required
- Current BLS certification (must meet state-specific requirements)
