Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document patient care activities meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion and respect to patients and family undergoing stressful procedures and treatments.
- Works independently, self-motivated, takes direction from physician and management to complete assignments.
- Maintain safe knowledge of equipment, procedures, supplies, computer, IV pumps, NOVA Glucose monitor, I-STAT, Immediate use sterilization policy and procedures.
- Must be proficient in English and able to communicate effectively.
- Associate's degree in Nursing [Required], Bachelor's degree in Nursing [Preferred].
- 1+ year medical surgical experience [Required], 1+ year surgery experience [Preferred].
Qualifications
- Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) [Preferred]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) [Preferred]
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
- ATD Master Instructional Designer Certified (ATD) [Preferred]
Skills
- Knowledge of operating room procedures and equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
