Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, located in Columbia, MD 21044, is an acute care community hospital with 262 beds and part of the prestigious Johns Hopkins Health System. At Howard County General Hospital we have 11 ORs that are ideal for an experienced OR RN seeking to work for the world‑renowned Johns Hopkins family. Our ORs provide ortho/spine, robotics, and general surgeries.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (Required)
- Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred)
- Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered; must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program per nursing guidelines
- RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
- CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
- Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
- 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of Operating Room experience (Preferred)

Pay
Salary Range: Minimum $37.13/hour - Maximum $57.87/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
Schedule
Schedule: Day Shift. Weekly Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Shift: 8 hour days. The Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
