Collaborates with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient and family education, assess patient needs, and initiate appropriate interventions.
Qualifications
- Current Montana Registered Nurse licensure
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association PEARS or PALS certification within 1 year of hire
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate within 2 years of hire
- Competence in and willingness to practice modified primary nursing
Preferred qualifications include AHA ACLS certification and experience in oncology and infusion.
Responsibilities
- Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation (Assessment)
- Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis)
- Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation
- Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes (Plan of Care)

Schedule
This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required.
