RN-Oncology Infusion

Full-time position located in Creston, IA.

Responsibilities

• Blood draws, both peripheral and from ports
• Port flushes and starting IV's
• Infusions on patients of all ages including but not limited to antibiotics, hazardous drugs, and immunotherapy
• Inputting orders from oncology clinics
• Willing to work with patients of all ages ranging from infants to adults
• Willing to cross train in radiation therapy nursing
• Effective communication within department and with supporting departments to ensure the best patient care is being given

Requirements

• Must have a current RN license valid to practice in the state of Iowa
• Must have or be willing to complete INR and chemo certification class after hire
• Willing to cross train in radiation therapy if needed
• Chemotherapy experience is preferred but not required
