RN Oncology
Requirement: 2 years of Med Surg RN hospital experience. Oncology experience and chemo certification preferred.
About the Role
- Full-time night shift: three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Surgical Oncology unit serving Medical and Surgical Oncology, Plastic Surgery, Microvascular Surgery, Palliative Care, and Med-Surg overflow
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- 32-bed unit with active Unit-Based Council and Commission on Cancer designation
- Over 90% BSN rate; support for pursuing ONC national certification and safe administration of Chemo and Bio Therapies

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Oncology setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care
- Participate in unit-based councils and professional development opportunities
- Administer Chemo and Bio Therapies safely (with appropriate support and certification)
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license
- BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- 2 years of Med Surg RN hospital experience
