RN - Observation Unit - Night Shift

Position: Registered Nurse - Observation Unit Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital Type: Full-Time, 36 hours/week Hours: 7pm-7am, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays Responsibilities: Provide safe, compassionate nursing care across patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor's required within five years if Associate Degree heldCurrent Illinois RN licensureCPR certification (American Heart Association)Knowledge of EKG interpretationNIHSS Stroke Scale certification (required) Preferred Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in NursingSurgical care experience (ortho and gen-surg)ACLS certificationInpatient nursing experience (highly preferred) Key Duties: Deliver high-quality nursing care, collaborate with the clinical team, and ensure patient safety and well-being.
