RN - Observation Unit - Night Shift

Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care across diverse patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members, including nurses and physicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher; Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with a timeline for upgrading if applicable
• Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation and NIHSS Stroke Scale certification (required)
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, surgical care experience, ACLS certification, and inpatient nursing experience

Schedule

The role involves working 36 hours weekly, primarily from 7pm-7am, including every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.
