Pride Health is hiring an OBGYN Clinic RN for a client in Humble, TX. This is a contract-to-hire position with a 3-month contract period.

Prepare and submit patient documents for scanning.
Monitor in-basket for orders placed by physician and perform tasks that need to be completed; report and accurately document patient response.
Manage workload in assigned departmental in-basket to include: result notes, Rx requests, Rx response, orders, patient calls, overdue results, canceled orders, expiring orders, and patient advice requests.
Schedule appointments and assist patients with specialty referrals and radiology testing.
Provide after-visit summary and/or pre-printed patient educational material as directed by provider.
Medication administration using the 7 rights; document, monitor, and report response.
Telephone management: collect pertinent patient information to help identify health care needs and document in the medical record; report information to physician for direction of care or provide care advice as appropriate to the situation.
Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate staff using a caring, non-rushed tone.
Identify clinic, department, name, and job title in the health care team.
Ensure accurate information is obtained and communicated to the physician in writing via the medical record.
