About the role
High-energy, patient-focused care in the Obstetrics and Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain competencies in Labor & Birth, Antepartum, and OB Emergency Department
- Float between departments as needed
- Support mother-baby care, Well Newborn Care, and post-surgical units
- Circulate cases in the OR
- Support lactation consultants
- Provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to perform prolonged standing and walking
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit
