RN (OB - Days)

About the role

This position is responsible for coordinating patient care and performing nursing services requiring specialized judgment and skills. You will supervise LPNs and related support nursing staff and report to the OB Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Identify what patients, including our littlest patients, need and care for them.
• Work as a team player and supervise other nursing personnel that reports to you.
• Keep neat records and prepare reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment for staff and patients in accordance with quality standards.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Show a customer service attitude when interacting with patients and families.
• Use superb organizational skills when it comes to supplies and equipment.
• Remain calm and professional in crisis and emergent situations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills for electronic records management systems.

Requirements

• Education: Associate of Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor’s of Nursing (Preferred)
• New York RN (Required)
• BLS (Preferred)
• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
