About the role

A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.

Responsibilities

• Certified in specialty within six months
• At least 3 years of ICU and/or PACU experience required

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; candidates considered if working toward completion of degree (must be completed within 5 years)
• Licenses: [ Ohio, United States ] Registered Nurse Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse

Qualifications

• Required Licenses: [ Ohio, United States ] Registered Nurse Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse

Skills

• BLS certification
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
