RN Nursing Supervisor-Nursing Administration-Full Time
Position Summary
As a nurse supervisor, you provide optimal, individualized care for your patients in collaboration with other disciplines. Nurse Supervisors will be responsible for managing patient care and coordinating the interdisciplinary team, working together with other health team members to improve patient outcomes. Coordinates services during shifts as a member of the Patient Care Team. Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process in a safe and effective manner. Directs and supervises hospital personnel delivering patient care. In the absence of the Department Directors, coordinate all hospital activities. Ensures the coordination and appropriateness of acute hospital admissions by serving as the direct liaison between physicians, hospital staff, and the community. Participates with Nursing Directors in the ongoing management of patient care units and other hospital departments.

- Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements
- In-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation
- TB/PPD Surveillance Program
- Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s)
