RN-Nursing Supervisor- Evening Shift

About the role

The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a self-motivated, outgoing and team-oriented Registered Nurse for an RN Supervisor on the 3:00pm-11:15pm shift. This is an exciting position and key clinical management role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the coordination and administration of nursing services during the evening shift including supervising the delivery of clinical care
• Providing staff support
• Conducting investigations and audits as needed
• Monitoring overall compliance with Parker's policies, procedures, standards and regulations

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN license
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related area
• Previous experience as an RN in a skilled nursing, assisted living or post-acute setting
• Previous experience as an RN Supervisor, Manager or Charge Nurse preferred
