About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers and/or coordinates the delivery of patient care, including critical illness or emergency of episodic nature, using the nursing process. The RN completes initial multi-system and psycho-social assessments, expected outcomes, interventions, and evaluation of care based on the developmental status from neonate through adult geriatric.
Responsibilities
- Delivers and/or coordinates the delivery of patient care using the nursing process of assessment, expected outcome identification, intervention, and evaluation of care.
- Demonstrates knowledge and/or proficiency in the management and delivery of patient care in the assigned area of clinical practice.
- Participates in patient/family education and discharge planning activities and ensures family involvement.
- Integrates culture, beliefs, and value systems of individuals.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Nursing
- Currently licensed in the state or licensure eligible
- Current BLS certification
- PALS certification is recommended
- NRP certification within 12 months of hire
