RN Nurse Supervisor ER FT Days

Location: 7600 Better Way, Frisco, Texas

Shift: Full‑time Days, Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour days with flexibility.

About the role

Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. You will maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes, overseeing operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with members from different professional fields to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assess nursing practices and integrate evidence‑based research discoveries.
• Foster a caring, outcome‑promoting environment.
• Encourage development and growth opportunities for staff members.
• Efficiently manage resources to promote safety within the healthcare system.

Requirements

• 2 years recent/current Emergency Department experience in an acute care setting, trained in Trauma Center and Triage.
• Full‑time availability for day shifts, Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour days with flexibility.

Preferred qualifications

• 5 years recent/current Emergency Department experience in an acute care setting.
• Two years experience as a Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience.

Skills

• Solid understanding of nursing standards and patient care procedures.
• Superb communication abilities and expertise in creating and assessing patient care plans.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations and diverse medical and office software applications.
