RN Nurse Supervisor

About the role

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor to lead their Private Duty Nursing team. The role combines clinical support with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality care in the home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and support to Private Duty Nursing staff
• Complete client visits, including initial and reassessment visits
• Ensure care is delivered in accordance with the plan of care
• Serve as a resource for nurses in the field and assist with problem solving
• Build strong relationships with patients, families, and team members
• Aid in training, coaching, and ongoing staff development
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Absorb compliance, quality, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing and patient care needs

Requirements

• Active RN license in Missouri or a Compact state
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience OR 1 year of pediatric experience
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
