RN Nurse - Night Shift - Long-Term Assignment

Role Overview Join a healthcare system as a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN) supporting 11 hospitals across Missouri and Illinois, providing patient-centered emergency care. This position offers long-term assignments at a single hospital to foster familiarity with teams and workflows, while still experiencing system-wide exposure. Responsibilities Include Providing direct nursing care in the ED, utilizing medical-surgical nursing standards to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.Collaborating with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.Applying evidence-based practices, advocating for patients, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.Mentoring colleagues and fostering a positive work environment.Promoting continuous learning through research, practice updates, and professional development. Qualifications And Skills Minimum of 2+ years ED RN experience, with trauma and float experience preferred.Current Missouri RN license, ability to obtain Illinois license.Strong adaptability, quick integration into new teams, and excellent communication skills.Education: ADN, BSN, or MSN; RN certification required.
